Accessibility statement

We want Digitalni ugovori to be usable by everyone — including people who use a screen reader, operate a computer by keyboard only, magnify the screen, or need stronger contrast. The platform is operated by registered company name. This statement describes the real state of things: what works, and what does not work yet.

We aim at level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, the level referenced by the European standard EN 301 549. Every shortcoming listed below is measured against that benchmark.

Partially conformant. We do not claim that the platform meets WCAG 2.1 AA. No formal accessibility audit has been carried out, so we can neither claim full conformance nor state the exact extent of non-conformance. We plan an external audit planned date or timeframe for the external WCAG 2.1 AA audit. Until then the list of known gaps below applies, and it should be read as incomplete.

The interface is built on a shared component library with semantic colour tokens and works in both light and dark themes. The active navigation item carries the aria-current attribute, so a screen reader announces it. The signing page uses labelled form controls and ARIA tab semantics. We run no advertising or analytics tracking scripts.

The list is current as of date of the last review of this statement: - Not every form field has an associated label. For those fields a screen reader cannot reliably say what the field is for. - The interface has not been formally checked against WCAG 2.1 AA. There are therefore gaps we are not aware of — possibly in contrast, focus order, or error messages. We are working on the first. We cannot promise a completion date.

Signing with an eID card runs through a card reader and supporting software that we do not build; their accessibility is up to their makers. The same applies to PDF documents you open in your own browser or reader. If that is where you get stuck, tell us anyway — we need to know where people stop.

If you cannot reach content or finish an action — signing in particular — write to accessibility feedback email address. It helps if you name the page, what you were trying to do, and which assistive technology you use. You can also reach us via alternative contact channel for accessibility feedback — postal address and/or phone. We reply within response deadline for accessibility feedback, e.g. 15 days. If you need a document in another format, ask at the same address.

If our answer does not resolve the problem, or no answer arrives, you can complain to the supervisory body: name and contact details of the competent accessibility supervisory / complaints body. Contacting us first is not a precondition for that complaint, but it helps us fix the fault sooner.

This statement covers digitalni-ugovori.eu and digital-contracts.eu. It was prepared from an internal assessment by the team that builds the platform; no third-party evaluation was commissioned. It was adopted on date this statement was adopted and last reviewed on date of the last review of this statement. We update it when we fix a listed gap or learn of a new one. The Croatian version of this statement is the authoritative one.
